The period from 2025 to 2026 has been dubbed the “first year of AI smart locks.” The China National Hardware Association officially released the “AI Smart Lock Group Standard,” providing clear technical specifications for smart locks equipped with active learning and edge computing capabilities. Guided by this standard, industry leader Dessmann launched a new product matrix featuring the “AI Smart Butler 2.0,” “Longting Motor 2.0,” and “Smart Control Radar.” Among these, the AI adaptive motor achieves a dynamic torque output of up to 5.6 N·m, improving jam-handling capability by 24.4%, and combines multimodal recognition with deep learning algorithms to enable doorstep behavior analysis, contactless package reminders, and the creation of personalized visitor profiles. This trend indicates that security hardware components are evolving from mere physical protective devices into edge computing nodes for smart homes, compelling upstream suppliers of micro gearboxes, speed-reduction transmission components, and micro-motors to advance toward ultra-quiet operation, extended longevity, and intelligent control.
